This is a collection of resources and discussions related to upgrading the NC Women United web site and associated technologies.
The initial participants are focusing on
- Replacing the calendar now at ncwu.ontero.net
- Enlarging the group with responsibility for monitoring the NCWU mailing lists
- Revamping the structure and the look and feel of www.ncwu.org
- Reevaluating the ways in which advocacy information is distributed to the members and considering upgrades that are easy for both the advocates and the activists.
The initial structure of this site has four categories of postings:
- Calendar solutions
- Discussions of options for replacing the NCWU calendar.
- Web site updates
- Discussions of what needs to change in structure and look and feel to get to the next verion of www.ncwu.org
- New technology
- Other than the web site and the calendar, what other technologies would improve the efficiency and effectiveness of NCWU’s service to the advocates and activists.
- Blog notes
- What we learn as we use this software, especially things that we’d need to remember if it were used as an advocacy tool.
If you’re interested in postings on only one of those issues, please choose the category from the menu on the right.
