This is an entry for folks to use to see if they can post comments from a range of browsers — Macintosh in particular. In your comment, please give the operating system version (at least Windows or Mac) and the browser version (for Windows, anyway, usually found on the Help > About menu item).

Windows 98, IE 6.028 (mea culpa, but modern browsers assume systemcharactistics that this machine just doesn’t support).
A couple of quirks:
1. The login screen comes up blank. Using BACK and FORWARD makes it aoutomagially appear.
2. I’m using this comment box on a screen set to 800×600. The box extends under the right hand menu, and what I type gets hidden behind that, too — actually extending off the screen to a place where it’s not accessible even with the horizontal scroll bar. But, according to an earlier test, it does get posted correctly.
